The new purpose-built, high-quality facilities for the most comprehensive animal research and teaching centre inAustralia. The world-class $80 million School of Veterinary Science for the University of Queensland was built at the university’s Gatton campus, 90 kilometers west of Brisbane.The project involved construction of four new buildings including a veterinary hospital, teaching and research facilities, a substation, and one refurbished building housing teaching laboratories. A new power distribution hub for the university was built.  SDF’s scope of works associated with the Power Hub involved, H.V aerial line work, H.V pit, pipe and u/g H.V cabling, H.V Main Switchboard, H.V Power Factor Correction, L.V Main Switchboard, L.V Standby Generator & Solar Power. The School is on one campus, boasts state-of-the-art facilities and benefits from integration with a number of other related university faculties already at UQ Gatton.
